Remember in my review of My Shifter Showmance, the first in the Shifting Realities series, how I said R.G. Alexander’s erotic novellas are quirky? Yeah. My Demon Saint takes us past quirky and into…did I just read what I think I just read territory.My Demon Saint is the story of our favorite half-demon, Saint. He’s also known as Sinner in the online video game he created. He gets his demon rocks off by “connecting” to people as they play online, sinning and fighting and being not-themselves in an altered reality. The technophile of the three Showmance roommates, he’s constantly logging in – whether it’s by computer or his trusty Blackberry.

Through a chance encounter, Saint connects with Ume. Bedbound after a car accident left her physically damaged, she loves to play around in Saint’s game. Running, jumping, fighting…it’s become an addiction to her. And then one night she meets a warrior within the game.
And that’s when things get a little outside my comfort zone.
Let’s be blunt – the two characters have sex within the game though both people who are technically in control of those characters can actually feel everything happening to their characters. Got that? And then Ume gets pulled INTO the game…and we get to experience an altered-reality ménage. Like you do.
Overall, the writing is pure R.G. Alexander – naughty and witty with pure heat behind those sex scenes. My issue with the novella had more to do with me being way outside my area of reference. And I mean because of the video game stuff.
I don’t play video games – never have – so the whole world within the game and subculture is completely lost on me. I liked the novella but couldn’t relate as much as I wanted to. And I really wanted to – something about Saint makes me stand up and do the hair-flip-shoulder-lift-half-smile, you know? I still give this 3.5 stars for being naughty and spicey and all kinds of fun. Plus we got to see a lot of Liam.
Mmmmmmm, shifter Liam. Love it!

This book is awesome! I love RG Alexander! I loved the descriptions of everything in this book especially the hot steamy Pvp video game sex!
I loved this story. true acceptance. Also, the connections with the previous book, especially with the Liam and Julie thing, was pretty incredible
I enjoyed this book, it is a good, reasonably quick, read. There was some humour and the characters were interesting. I would recommend this book to people already familiar with R.G. Alexander's writing style. It is not their best book but I like this author and this book wasn't disappointing.

Alexander i must say you are a good writer i love how this book continue in the story with parts from the first book love it now you gotta make a part three for mac to finally find some one pleaseeee i would hate to see all of mac roomate for find their soul mate and he is left all alone please make a shifting reality 3 please
My Demon Saint, book 2 of Shifting Reality series. This steamy installment in the series follows Saint and Ume, Julie's cousin. Saint pulled out his incubus persona for this book. The Demon/Human can really multi task. Julie and Liam have a little side story, would love to read more about that.
My Demon Saint made me want to go out and buy World of Warcraft just to see if maybe I could also get sucked in and experience everything Ume did. Saint is a demon you will definitely fall in love with and gives a whole new meaning to cybersex. This is the second in the Shifting Reality series and you will be a little lost if you don't read the first in the series which is My Shifter Showmance. Go and get these you will not be disappointed.
My Demon Saint continues the story started in My Shifter ShowmanceShifting Reality, Book 1. An excellent follow-up starring Saint - a half human, half demon, matchmaking nerd of all things electronic. Out of sheer boredom - and a way to stay out of the kind of trouble only his kind can create, Saint creates a virtual reality game called Demon Saint. While matchmaking for his friend Liam, Saint discovers Ume. Saint immediately feels a connection like no other with Ume, and though his game, takes Ume on an adventure inconceivable to the mortal mind; and leads her on a path of self-discovery and healing. Saints character is as hilarious and consistent as Book 1. His confusion over his feelings was funny because he doesn't think demons have the capacity to love. One of my favorite scenes is when Thomas (shifter from Book 1) dramatically declares, "This demon has been cleansed!"
Folks, don't miss out on this series! It was endearing, funny, emotional at times, and had some smoking hot sex scenes (not for a younger audience!) While a short novella, I felt I knew the characters well enough to be thoroughly engaged in the story. However, that is probably due to the fact that I read Book 1 first. My advice Read Book 1, then 2. Looking forward to Book 3 Ms. Alexander!
